Fridays 1.15 pm to 4.15pm (with option to continue use of the studio until 5.30pm)

This course will cover all aspects of Oil Painting such as drawing, composition and brushwork but special attention is given to colour. You will learn to observe and mix colours accurately. You will become aware of how colours work together, both in the world around you and on your canvas.

This course will assist you in a personal exploration of colour through Oil Paint, leading to distinctive colour effects in your own compositions. Stealing ideas from the Masters and fellow students will further expand your ability to control and organise colour.

This is an ALL-ABILITIES class. Whether you’re a successful professional or an absolute novice, you will find the course both challenging and inspirational.
